SB 438 which is the Race to the Top bill and the Achievement Gap (formerly the parent trigger) bill

SB 438 combined two historic education policy proposals: a set of initiatives intended to improve Connecticut’s Round 2 application for the Race to the Top grant; and legislation, formerly known at the "parent trigger," designed to help close Connecticut’s Achievement Gap.
